Luckily for Strife, he posted before Adwarf fixed the sheet.  Waiting list stands at Kashyyk then Adwarf.

Your drunk posts continue to baffle me.

Zombies cannot stand before the might of totally-not-Jack-Churchill! Hey, at least I changed the name to a synonymous one.

HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.
God help us if we have to agree on pizza toppings at some point. There will be no survivors.

I knew that guy was Jack Churchill.  I'll let it slide this time but from now on when you make a character think "Is this someone I read about on Cracked?"  If he is, please consider changing him a bit.  I'd like this game to be at least kind of serious and tongue-in-cheek characters will make that difficult, especially if they're played straight.

Speaking of seriousness, feel encouraged to roleplay.

Actually, I knew about Jack Churchill before that Cracked article.

Anyway, I've completed the food rules.

Quote from: Food Rules
The safehouse starts with 5 food.  At the end of each month the food supply is reduced by 1 for every five people, rounded up.  If there isn't enough food to go around, the difference leaves for greener pastures, starting with lowest rep and working up.  Stars never leave.  (Example:  If there are 18 survivors and three units of food [enough for 15 people], all the food is consumed and three grunts leave).  If a month ends and there is no food to eat, all grunts test rep, and those who fail leave forever.  All remaining survivors are at -1 effective rep until a month ends and there is at least 1 unit of food in the stockpile.  If three consecutive months end with no food, the safehouse folds, all survivors (Including stars) leave or starve, and the game ends.

Also, forecast for the first month (February 2014)

Zombie presence:  Relatively high in the city, relatively high in the suburbs, minimal in the country.
Human presence:  Low in the city, moderate in the suburbs, moderate in the country.

Events:  A large area of the city is being regularly bombed.  Zombie and human presence in the area will likely be minimal, and it may be a good opportunity for looting if you can get through the infested parts in one piece and avoid potential bombing runs.

Well, I think we would be fools to pass up this opportunity to loot the city. We might not be able to approach it for months after the bombing stops.

Forgot to mention.  I'll be running the game on maptool, so if you have a picture of your character in mind post it and I'll use it for his token.

Also forgot to mention.  If the rep penalty from starvation reduces a character's rep to 1 or 0, he starves to death with no roll.

Other stuff you should remember.  Gunfire and vehicles attract zombies.  Every single shot fired has a chance of bringing in a zombie, so don't go crazy.  Bows are silent, as is melee combat.  Also, keep your distance from zombies.  From 6 inches or more away they're an easy target and you use your rep as the gun's strength, making them much easier to kill even with a weak weapon.  Once you're within six inches, though, that no longer applies.

I'm thinking that a division of forces is our best bet. One group to the city to get those supplies that we might not be able to get for a long while, one group in the countryside to get some new peoples. I'm already thinking on semi-Jerichoish terms, I guess.

I dunno. I am sorta leery about it. I mean, on the surface it is a good idea, but do we really have the man power to do that?
