Look at it this way if you don't do it now almost everything will be destroyed by the bombings by the time its cleared out some of the zombies.

I'm going to clarify what the bombing does.

Bombing events create essentially another sector, with very low zombie and survivor numbers, and several destroyed buildings.  The main problem is getting there.  You'll still have to go through zombie infested parts of the city to reach the bombed area.

Also, you might get bombs dropped on you.

By month's end, the zone will be completely destroyed and inaccessible.  Bombings do not have a permanent impact on the rest of the city, however.  It doesn't matter how many bombing events occur in a sector, there will still be a functionally unlimited number of places to visit in that sector.

EDIT:  Also, I'm ending the vote, seeing as it's no contest.  No Larger than Life or Cheat Death.  You lived like dorfs, you'll die like dorfs.

To something that has no business killing you.

I'm going to use placeholder tokens for you guys until you have ones you like.  Whenever you commit to what your characters are doing we'll get things started.

Huh. Maybe we should put up a vote of where to go?

I still vote bombed area and do not split up.

dunno how but you broke the vote-poll, I can't re-vote after the first one.
Anyways we should go to the suburbs, while the population is moderate both ways, maybe get us some grunts.

Oh hey, when looking for token images I stumbled across something you might want to look at.

If you want to get involved, you might be able to make a token image with this.

Also look at the average joe version.

I vote split, Bombed urban areas and Country. 3 to 2.

And Zombie activity in the suburbs is relatively high. Not moderate.

Some more insight into the rules, that you'll need to keep in mind:

Every turn a die is rolled for each side (You, zombies, other survivors, etc.).  Highest goes first.  Then another die is rolled (House rule, the actual book says to use the same roll but that makes things weird) to determine who can move for each side.  Only characters with a rep higher than that roll can move, unless they're in a group with a leader who can move.

What this means is that a few bad rolls in a row can see zombies sneaking up on you.  Always remember that you may not be able to move next turn.

hum made myself a token avatar, use or don't. I don't really care, but it was pretty neat to see all the options you have.

ya I noticed after I closed the window I forgot a nose, oh well.  I guess a flamboyant guy, covered in scars,  with a metal staff and a shotgun is a bit too creepy even for a zombie apocalypse?

Nah, it's good.  Works better than the token I tried to make with it.

Now that I've actually made a token or two, a lot of them don't work all that well, especially when zoomed out.  If you still want to make one try to keep them simple.  Only the head and shoulders will be visible anyway, and at a distance having a lot of details will make the token look messy.
