Moving traded meat
« on: August 28, 2006, 12:01:00 am »

Moving traded meat to stockpiles seems to be very low priority. I'm generally not surprised to find half of the food I traded for to rot even with dwarves ignore minerals, wood, and all fields fallow.

Could it be bumped up a bit?

A crude workaround is to set only the meat to cookable, and then run several kitchens full blast to convert it to meals.  I used 5 and burned through a whole caravan of meat pretty quickly.

Changing job priorities has to wait until a full system for it goes in.  I might make the food go into barrels in the mean time, or something.
