The elf that just wouldn't die.

I was raiding an elf camp and I was beating down the last elf.  He was, apparently, some kind of immortal monstrosity that wouldn't die.  The third picture is his description when I was done with him.

This is why I always carry lots of knives and rocks and have high archery/throwing. Thrown things are the most lethal weapons ever.

Is he still alive? I would have taken a tooth or his head as a trophy.

I believe he bled to death after many turns.

I was actually about to make a thread about this, actually it was a troll but:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Me and about 18 companions had been atttacking him for like 40-50 turns.
His armor was apparantly very effective,as I have chopped bog trolls in half before.

I just had an illithid void master (from Genesis) and an iron man fight each other in arena mode. The iron man was left with only a head, upper and lower body, and the illithid had a head, a few head tentacles, upper and lower body, and his left upper leg still attached. The void master eventually used some psychic attack to blow the iron man's head off. I couldn't help reciting the Black Knight dialogue through the whole battle.

That would be the dimension zero blast, void masters are insane.
Their Touch, Sprout, Reaper Blade and Dimension Zero attacks are all very strong, and they can fly.

I remember when I had a super fast adventurer. I cut off all a trolls limbs, mutilated its heart, and then cut its head of before it could bleed to death.

Every few miles, [the dwarves] stop the cart.  One of the dwarfs (sic) gets off, digs a hole down below the dirt layers, licks the bedrock, and then they know exactly where they are.  It's called GPS: Geological Piquancy Sampling.

Not to detract from your well-deserved smugness, I'm not sure if it's the speed the main factor, or rather the monster's size and toughness: I once pummelled a cyclops until he passed out from pain, then proceeded to bite off nose, ears, every single toe and finger. I took my time, and he did not die (yet). Unfortunately I wasn't strong enough to chop limbs off so I inadvertently bled him to death while trying to sever one of his arms... shame!

Yeah, I've seen red paragraphs about that big when fighting some of the more complex and durable titans/FBs. Never with semi-megabeasts, though.
