(I hope this adventure turns out OK.)
Your name has been long forgotten.
The Subject is your name now. The only name. For as long as you were alive, God had abandoned you. Kept in darkness, hundreds of needles piercing your frail body, draining but not killing you. You weren't meant to be escaping anytime soon. You were trapped in a metal prison. You could barely see beyond the murk of the vat. You could only see pale outlines of the world beyond. They occasionally ran tests on you, checked your physical state. You were perfectly fit, just not ready to be released. Either you were too underdeveloped, too mentally unstable or maybe they just liked to torture you with a hint of possible freedom. But you knew that they were keeping me for something, you just didn't know what. You were unique in some way, advanced, terrifying. Terrifying enough to be locked in a metal maze of traps and security guards.
One day, you were ready. They would have probably let you out, to do whatever you were made to do.
They didn't expect you to break through the glass, for you to kill a security guard and for you to be able to escape into the vents.
As you scampered through the vents, looking around for an exit, the voices came. You didn't know where they came from. Sometimes, these same voices taunted you in the glass vat, but now...They want to help. You realize that you have to trust them, or you won't get anywhere. They have some good ideas. After resting, they asked you two questions.
What made you unique, and what do you look like?
(What is your special power, and the second one is obvious.)
