You decide the car's your best bet.  You walk over and try to jimmy the car door open (12 ).  To your great surprise, the car's unlocked.  You head in and try to find some keys (10).  You find a whole ring of them, but you quickly figure out which one's for the car.  As you start the ignition, some images flash through your mind.  You see roman soldiers, wielding machetes and assault rifles.  You see shoddily equipped soldiers, with barely any weapons or armor, holding a flag with a two headed bear on it.  Last, but not least, you see a person holding a gigantic rocket launcher.  You can't see this person's face, you can't even tale if it's a guy or girl.  As quickly as the visions appear, they go away. 

Gotta remember to get some more psych medicine, you say to yourself.  You start up the engine and head over to Joey's (5).  It takes a bit longer than expected, but at least none of the gangsters tried to stop you.  As you head over to Joey's small house, you see that the inner place has been ransacked.  On the dining table, you find a note.  "Give up yourself, or your Italian friend dies", it says, in poor handwriting.  What do you do?

Oh my God that is going to be so difficult...I'll do my best and you better not flame if i get a single piece of fallout trivia wrong.  I'll do my research, but I'm not a Fallout encyclopedia.

I've used the site before, but the problem is I've already written stuff that don't make sense in the Fallout universe.  I'm sorry but I can't do it.  I like using Benny as a character, but to convert the entire setting?  I'm sorry I just can't do it.  ( Losing a poster in 3, 2, 1...)

The crime overlord we killed was an Omerta. What we have done so far os Benny's backstory. We are in the Strip right now.

Ah, I see.  Ok, I'm starting to see how I can do this.  However, a lot of the stuff I write  will probably seem pretty unlikely and weird, but you will HAVE to forgive me.  Also, noah, if my interpretation of Benny is different from yours, forgive me.  I also haven't finished the game, but I have killed Benny

Anyway, on with this Fallout New Vegas story ( sorry if this topic strayed too far from the "You have a gun" plot.  Didn't really know how this would end up, but I certainly didn't imagine writing one of Benny's adventures. )


You have decided to go help Joey.  You weren't always the best of pals with him, but you owe him, especially after the incident with that singer ( FNV comic reference ).  But how to do it?  The rest of the chairmen would be reluctant to help, cause it would mean war with the Omerta's.  The only reason the Omerta's didn't call you out for killing one of their top dogs was because they didn't want war as well.  They probably wanted to take you out nice and quiet, and avoid creating a stir.  As you are thinking this, a band of Omerta thugs with automatic weapons show up.  You don't have many places to hide, and you've only got ten rounds in gold ol' Maria, but that probably won't be enough.  What to do?

Once again, against all your cowardly instincts, you head to face them.  You take aim (8 ).  To your confusion time seems to slow down.  You can see all your enemies clearly, and for some reason there's a greenish tint in the air.  Again, to your confusion, your mind starts calculating the odds of your bullets hitting them.  With time slowed down, you take stock of your surroundings.  There are six men, each armed with assault rifles.  Your mind tells you that you have a 86% chance of hitting four of them in the chest, but you can't hit the other two, they're too far away.  You pull the trigger.  Four bullets fly, hitting the four men in their chests.  The other two open fire, and you quickly run to avoid the spray of bullets (9).  Adrenaline pumping through your veins, you duck behind a conveniently placed dumpster.  You try to do the weird green aim thing again, but for some reason, you feel too tired to do it.  Still, you fire at the thugs (10) hitting both of them in the head.  You get up, dust off your suit, and head to the car.

Rounds left in Maria: 4 ( I suggest you find some way to get more ammo )

Also, here are Benny's stats, which I got from the wiki:

3 cha ( I actually though a slick guy like Benny would have more, but anyway )

His skills:

Melee Weapons: 59-100 ( It doesn't say in the wiki exactly what his level is, he levels along with the player )

Guns: 57-100

Unarmed: 55-100

Keep this in mind when making your next decision.  I hope you guys are enjoying this and aren't completely bored to tears by this newb thread.

You have the choice to salvage items, or to steal items ( I'll roll the dice to determine whether it succeeds or not ).  If you want to know what items are in the area, ask, and I'll clarify. 

edit: Benny is not poor like the Courier.  He's the chairman of the Chairmen, he has to have some money, at the very least.  You don't HAVE to sell of every broken can you find on the street.
