World should be made after the 35th rejection.

The world was generated with several races from the fortress defense mod and some modded creature and weapon files. It probably won't affect the geography laid out by the seed.

Use random seeds for history, name, and creature. Using the default seeds will result in low megabeast numbers due to dieout.
You might also want to change the embark points, I set it to a high number to test firearm building.

Volcano #2 starts in the 2nd cavern layer to the east of the main volcano
Volcano #3 starts in the 3rd cavern to the north of #2
Volcano #4 starts in the northwest corner of the map, in the 3rd cavern layer

Huh. I tweaked a few values and got the same world.  Right number of rejections, found the spot.  Everything is identical exept my volcano is maybe 6 east and 4 south in the mountains.   Gonna undo my changes and see what broke

Lots easier just to output the results to a text file.  In Windows use "dfprospector > somefile.txt"

I already do that.

I even use the "-b" switch to include "layer stones".

But I would like to know how to (a) get it to give me layer or non-layer, & (b) get it to sort in an order other than the default.
