I've read that one. It's fairly good, I suppose.

I am currently reading Stephen King's book "All Dark, No Stars". It's great, I recommend it.

Or maybe there's a god who's just completely insane and sends you to Detroit, Michigan in a new body if you ever utter the name "Pat Sajak".

I'm in the middle of the Foundation series. I recently got into Asimov after reading The Last Answer and The Last Question.

Also I read Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality over the weekend. I don't normally read fan fiction but it's really good.

From Nyet to Da.

It's a book on understanding Russians.  It's pretty cool, I guess.  A bit "weeooweeoo Orientalism-ho!" but whatever.

A Game of Thrones, by George R.R. Martin

My brother gave me a copy of it like two years ago, and I've got it sitting right here, but I just haven't found the time to read. Been avoiding the HBO thing due to not having read it yet.

The Girl who Played with Fire, by Stieg Larsson.

Borrowing it off my mum's girlfriend. Second in the series, and the first one was pretty good. Enjoying it so far.

The Road. Pure depression in book form.

Forging through Art of War. It's an interesting read, but also difficult for my non tactically oriented mind to understand. Then I'm reading The Prince.

The Neutronium Alchemist (book 2 of the Night's Dawn trilogy). Massive books, and bloody awesome.

Loving that Azimov's been mentioned twice already, big fan myself.

Dwarven blood types are not A, B, AB, O but Ale, Wine, Beer, Rum, Whisky and so forth.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.
