I'm terribly original.
I've recently looked over the Rogue Trader rulebook, and it looks to be pretty fun. I would love to GM this, but I can't, as seen why in my earlier forum games.
I'm sorry for making another 'I'd like to play but can't GM' thread, but I really don't feel confident that I'll keep it running.
I've decided to run this. I'm accepting four players who are responsible to show up, and they tell me if they can't. I'm a hippocrite in saying that, but I feel that if I have reliable players, I'd be more likely to continue.
Rogue Trader is a Pen and Paper role Playing Game similar to Dark Heresy, only you and the other characters own a space ship, and you go around the galaxy doing player created adventures, with a little GM enforced plot. It takes place in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, as does Death Watch (DW) and Dark Heresy (DH).
The power level of the player characters is the middle ground between DW characters, and DH characters. They aren't space marines, but they do have extensive training and experience.
If you need any more info, tell me, and I'll look back through the book.
I'd prefer to play in an IRC room, so I can have a scheduled time that I can change other stuff to conform to. I'm willing to play in maptools if everyone wants to.
Playing forum-based is a lot slower paced, and I'd think I'd forget about it if we did play like that.
I have the core rules, and the Into the Storm expansion (vehicles, and xenos player rules). PM me if you would like them.
