Current Account of Player Roles:

1 Astropath (Criptfiend)
1 Freebooter or Navigator (Cthulu)
1 Explorator (Phantom)
1 Missionary or Seneschal (Riccto)
1 Freebooter (moi)

Filling a Starship's cast officers looks like it's a difficult task, even before considering the career specializations. How do these things usually go when a spot is missing? Is it even possible to run a Rogue Trader game without the Rogue Trader (captain)?

It could work if the DM played the Rogue Trader as an NPC who'd be the one giving us our duties. We'd have less control over our ship's purpose but it would still be possible to advise him or her towards a certain course.

Yup. That would work, And from the current crew composition that course would be "GITIN LOOT/ BURNING HERETICS/PRAISE THE OMINISIAH THERE IS A TOASTER/GETTING NOT POSSESSED."

I'ma back down on da orky frunt.  Fluff-wize no rogue trada wit 'is gob on strayt wud hire more den one boy for 'iz krew cuz da boyz get stronga and meana da more dat are around.  Even two boyz on a ship wud get ta waaagh!in' before ya can say "Oy boss, da orkz is waaagh!in'!"  Dat glowy kat fing can 'av da freeboota

I will take on the Rogue Trader burden.  It'll be a challenge.  I never play RP-heavy characters and it's time to break that.

I'll have it up sooner or later, probably within the next hour or two.

Thank you, Cthulhu. I was really hoping someone stepped up to be the RT, as I was hoping for a more Sand-Box like game.
I mean, it isn't going to be all Sand-Box. I'll start you guys off with a decent sized plot that you can build off of.
