You gather some wood and tinder and attempt to start a fire (3)you are having trouble with it, but it wont take you the entire afternoon, you may still do something else

Stupid spirits. Here, take back your rocks! *fling*

Toss my cursed quartz rocks back in the river, and try to find the others if Khan agrees.
Otherwise, gather wood for a cooking fire.

OOC:
@Kilakan:We should probably try and find the others.

you throw away the rocks, but don't feel very reassured. you still feel... haunted... perhaps the rocks weren't the source of your problems

Dwarlamin thinks back...all he's done so far was make a shelter...hmm.

Tell the tree spirits I'm sorry for making a shelter out of their bones?

you clumsily attempt a ritual and a prayer directed at the spirits of the vegetation (5)you get the feeling that you may be misdirecting your prayers, but you feel a bit calmer.

Clean out the fishes and put them over the fire, and (if Zruk helps or lets me use his pot) cooks the mushrooms in the pot. While things are a-cooking, I also clean four sweetroots in the brook and, lastly, divides the berries between us.

After eating, I thank the spirits thoroughly for their help and sacrifice.

I also still think one of our shamans could ask the spirits for guidance, so we can use our meta-knowledge and return to our hunters ;)

Head downstream.  Game trails are to be followed, but not out of hearing of the stream.

Find wood for a fire. If possible, build fireplace.
Gather rocks.

While waiting for the fire, I make myself useful to the others in what way I can, if they don't need any help just walk around looking at random stuff.

the fishes are to small to gut, they can be eaten whole. trying to blanch the mushrooms yourself may work badly, it is advisable that a shaman does it. you also might have time to do something else while Taric tries to get a fire

While waiting for the fire, I poke Taric repeatedly with blunt spearend make myself useful to the others in what way I can, if they don't need any help just walk around looking at random stuff. with some luck, maybe I can find something interesting.

OOC, what kind of clothes would we be wearing? Both materiel- and garment-/type-wise. It could become important to know later on.

hum... each of you has a fur loincloth. the weathes is relativelly warm during the day in the lowlands, but a fire might be necessary to sleep comfortably at night. the weather gets colder if you climb the mountain

It seems it will be necessary to kill a helpless animal and goad Taric into crafting me a nice pair of leather pants, then. Or at least a warm cloak.
