In bug news, the zombies in a necromancer's tower became suspicious after the necromancer failed to age and he fled into the hills.

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...
Link for full quote. 'tis mighty funny.

"Uuuhhnnnh?"
<narrows empty eye sockets>
"Ggguurrrhhhn."

I have spent at least half an hour this morning laughing at myself, alone in the office, making suspicious zombie noises.

That's why I only employ zombies without brains. Besides the fact that they think, they also try to eat themselves on rare occasions. (Note to Toady: Please have zombies occasionally try to eat themselves.)

Clearly, this represents six side-by-side wheelbarrows, as indicated by the right half of the icon.  The left half indicates they are carrying babies with hats in these wheelbarrows.

Presumably, they are lining up to dump them into the baby furnaces.

Such an awesome bug...

But what if a vampire does discover the secrets of life and death? Will they eat their own zombies? (Or will they be hunted down in their zombie filled castle by a human with a *Silver Whip*?)

They won't have time to figure out the secrets of life and death , they will be too busy seducing pale emo chicks with male dependency issues..

And what if they discovered The Waters of Greenness or a similarly insane procedurally generated secret? Part-draltha vamprie necromancer in a phantom soap tower...*shudder*.

Zombies, dead/mindless/controlled beings, are suspicious of their master. And said master left his tower to get away from his mindless slaves

This does bring up an interesting possibility though: What if a necromancer loses control of his minions and is forced to relocate to a different tower, leaving a massive fortress full of zombies behind unchecked. It could be interesting.
