If it's all right, I'd like to have him be the pilot for the medevac.

Med evac won't arrive this turn, but should come soon after. Glad to have you aboard!

It's nice to see the quick turn around with the orders coming back! I was worried I had waited too long to make the turn!

HQ, where is the medivac going to appear?

HQ will have to mark with smoke the designated landed zone with smoke (specify the colour just in case) If the zone is under fire the Valkyrie can make the decision to try and land or abort and come back with gunship escorts.

he wasn't going to chase enemy kills on a some "heroic" charge that would get his guys killed.

Ah come on, I played carefully in the previous turns, lemme have my heroic antics. xD

The medic nodded and grabbed an orange smoke beacon from his pack, securing it to his vest before moving out with the wounded. "And be careful for booby traps on and near the road!" Lemartes shouted after him.

Formation: Whoever can find cover takes it. Formation doesn't matter too much at this point.
Stance: Combat
Action:
- Head to medivac.

Adeon quickly poked his head up, his eyes darting side to side as he looked for more PDF targets. It took him a few minutes to realize that the ringing in his ears was due to the lack of enemy fire. He gave a little laugh before he turned back to his squad. The grin fell off his face as he looked back at his squad. He stammered, "Um, there's going to be a medivac soon, so we'll head back to drop off our dead and wounded." He looked around, and remembered about the squad west of him. He opened is combead. "Um, hey, squad leader to the west. There's going to be a medivac behind us, and my squad will be heading back. D-Do you have any wounded we could carry back for you?"

re: the landing zone. It might be a little tight. Vindus might be forced to land a little to the East towards the road.

If they were really getting overwhelmed then I might allow reinforcements to be shipped in. As it is, it looks like they've been able to push back the ambush, so HQ probably wouldn't approve any more assets unless the LT. was squawking about how they were all about to die.
