Err, Commissar Cadets aren't full commissars, they're basically Guardsmen in Commissar Uniforms with blue markings that work under a Commissar, so I don't know how he'll fit in...

And Traitor Guard Catachans? Sweet!

Anyway, I'll be using something from the old IG game.
Name: Seneca Hostilian
Personality: Seneca is a rather naive and happy cadet. He certainly obeys orders, though, whether he likes it or not.
Bio: His parents were rather quickly murdered by a Carnifex while he was 6, and then he ended up being placed on the track to a Commissar. He's rather against the idea of BLAMming and doesn't really hate many Xenos, except for Orks and Tau. Although he does rage against Heretics and Mutants. Man, he'd fit in more as a Rouge Trader's son.

Training mission. He's clearly a more advanced student and his commissar wants to see how he'll act when in a position of authority and is under pressure. :)

You haven't read that the Rebel models are going to be Catachan models?

Incredibly naive and happy Cadet is somehow advanced? Yay! Now, let's see how he acts within the platoons...

Fun fact: I will shoot all of you with a (rubber) bullet.

Alternative: he's such a colossal screw-up that his commissar is hoping to get rid of him by sending him on this mission, ostensibly as 'training'. Definitely looking forward to this!

I like the idea of a solo training mission for the Cadet. Literal trial by fire. I've attached him into the platoon HQ. keep in mind that your goal of keeping morale unwaivering directly conflicts with the players goals of surviving their missions. You'll have to pick your battles carefully!

I edited the main post, but figured I should also post the roster here for everyone's inspection.

Sorry, I meant to place him in the platoon HQ. Fixing...

If he joins your squad he's only higher than you if you bug out or he shoots you. But that shouldn't be a problem :)

Ha ha, yeah, not saying he's not sniper bait, but the grenade launchers are also juicy targets for their snipers.. and officers. Oh and medics too! Basically anyone important :P

Without someone in command an army goes out of control without leadership the soldiers begin to act on their own under heavy stress, and the army begins to break apart into pieces. The farther these pieces get out of control the weakier the army becomes until they are all crushed due to the fact that without rules, and orders they had no idea what to do, adn broke down. An army is like a man remove its leadership, adn it shatters under the pressure, so it is obvious that an enemy would aim for the leader of an army, or group, so they could easily break it, adn claim their objective.

Kanve, you do know that Cadet Commissars are given ordinary Guardsman equipment, right? Power-swords are for Sir Huge Hat. That, and you should read up on the basis of Commissar Training Squads.

Well the figure has a bolt pistol and a sword so I figured I'd go with it. Consider it one of those anomalies I was talking about! It won't affect your firepower and range is not really a factor.

Questiong how will we gain more supports, adn equipment in this? Since I was hoping to get some more artillery pieces I mena lets face it four just isn't enough on a jungle world where you can't see the enemy, so its natural to bombard the more heavily dug in ones.
