"i don't want a child" = i put on a rubber i have in my wallet.
no matter what one could say, this is the perfect solution.
the wallet is yours, the rubber is the one and only perfectly 100% safe contraceptive method without any problem (except embarassment in buying it if you have the XXXL extralarge need) (ah the pun) except material, but even then, they are tested, and out of package they are safe to be used. Just put the rubber on first and that's all.
no risks of hiv, syphilis, leper, or other stuff.
which is why there is the law "as it is" in other states i suppose, since logically the male can avoid it, if he doesn't he's the culprit who wanted a child or who should maintain it.
on the other hand the sentimentalistic naive men who thinks the girl is perfectly honest in saying she's on the pill and so on has probably earned what is going to fall on him.
i mean, you can't have sex with people you like without first asking them how they feel about childrens.
and even then, trusting is fine, not trusting is better.
cynical mayhaps but certainly not stupid.
@salmon: i was posting this lines down below just as you posted your post.
psyched.
what "could" be a problem is the girl's psychological profile.
her parents are divorced, and by keeping the baby she'll get lots of attention.
furthermore maybe she hoped to hop on the 16&pregnant cast of mtv, you never know what italians might pull off.
she might want the baby for attention, then throw it inside a garbage can, a bin, or in a dryer, being a minor she get's off with social services OR light prison, removed through good conduct, or reduced to at home prison, since we do have filled to the brim prisons with refuses from specifical other countries.
