It's supposed to be a thread about "Progressive"... something?  Politics I think.  We've spent a page talking about slang terms for asses, it's all awkward.

Then I am victorious.... :P

I have also seen the pants with words on the butt. Never liked them, would never be caught dead in them.  Pink is fine but does not need to be large printed on my ass. That is about as close to literally asking a guy to look at your butt as you're gonna get in most situations.

I've also been looking for an excuse to throw this one in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF985plzx_c

No it isn't.

You haven't seen the skirts that are seethrough or have underwear/leg outlines printed on them to make 'em look seethrough?

O dear god I had happily forgotten about those. Gah. I think I'd just turn red and die of embarrassment if people could see my butt in public on principal and shyness.

Not surprised I guess. Snopes says that you wouldn't see them in Japan except printed in porno magazines.

Where did you see one?

At a store somewhere in the US.  I don't remember where, but it's seared on my memory along with a sort of recollected horror.

Ya, that's relatively tame compared to some of the weird things people wear; isn't in the least surprising that one can find them somewhere.

Seems like something Spencers or some of the stores down on lower Haight would do. >.>

The weirdest clothes/style stuff I saw while traveling through Japan was ganguro craziness, it was still nothing compared to say... the burner crowd parties here.

Either that or it's a thread for getting angry at the music of Camel and Van der Graaf Generator.

We were talking about fake ones too. :P Still would not wear a skirt with panties printed on the butt or anywhere else. I get that they are not widespread (thankfully). Lots of terrible things in Japan aren't widespread, but their very existence is still horrifying.

Aaaanyway....back to your regularly scheduled rage.

Bachmann criticizes black farmer settlement

And you got to love how she frames it: We can't get enough relief money to these poor (white) farmers who are being flooded, because the USDA doesn't have enough money. Why? Certainly not because the Republicans pushed to slash the USDA's budget! No, that couldn't be it at all....I know! It's because Obama is paying "reparations" to those lazy, lying black farmers. And Hispanic farmers. And women farmers. So remember, white male farmers--it's not politicians that slash government funding for agriculture that are your enemy, it's fellow farmers who are of a different color or gender.

SO MUCH RAEG  >:(

I get that political correctness got a little nuts, but it seems we've regressed to the age of group baiting. (race, sex, sexual orientation, whatever).

The hell is wrong with people that they don't all immediately shout her down? Fact of the matter is this program was a legal settlement because the government actually did discriminate against those farmers. IT SAVED the government money.... This isn't wasteful at all. It's actually smart and has nothing to do with reparations. The government gave lots of money to farmers, but not black ones, which is illegal. The whole denying them money specifically because they are black thing.... Otherwise we'd be looking at a class action lawsuit, because of that crazy little thing called the 14th amendment.... Holy shit really?

This stupid moron can't figure out that they have a federal case and a winnable one at that.... *facepalm*

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
To head off a massive lawsuit you twit....

Bachmann, representative for every homophobic, racist in America.... And farmers should vote for her, despite the fact that they're getting less money from the department of agriculture due to her party politics.... Nevermind that farmers, look at the Black people getting money they deserve "don't deserve." Doesn't that piss you off? That's right vote with your hate....
