Yeah, of course acting now to fulfill long-term goals tomorrow doesn't make sense if you think the world is going to end any day now. So the Christian fundamentalists are really acting exactly how you might imagine they would.

Anyways, while I'm still doubtful of the validity of 'climate change', I understand peak oil and energy scarcity is a super-cereal problem and probably infinitely more worrying for the long-term sustainability of civilization then any outcomes of climate change, even if it is valid science. I think the environmentalists should be selling the peak oil disaster scenarios rather then the climate change idea if they want people to get off their asses about it.

Faahhk, I'm not sure it's going to matter anyways, I think the fanatics are going to win out in the end anyways.
