I wish to apply to become a member of the necromancer class, on the grounds that I am currently playing a necromancer in another forum game and therefore am the most qualified applicant. This will also let Bdthemag veto my proposals, should I ever attempt to use undemocratic bureaucratic measures to attempt to force them through the legislature.
I vote no, because i'd imagine you'd bring back some pretty messed up rules from other games. And because I imagine your going to bring back a rule that will break the game.

I would also like to take this opportunity to offer bribes and enormous mounds of unethical power/victory to anyone that assists me in obtaining or assists me after obtaining the necromancer class. Specific details will be made available upon request.

I propose that bribery and corruption are considered illegal actions

In addition I propose that violators of the above proposal shall be punished by being banned from the game for 48 hours

I vote for a rule that makes any member with the word Z in it's name has two votes!

This proposal, I agree.

I eergasid with this proposal.

I propose that players who break rules will be sent to court. The Court will be compromised of a Judge and a few members Bdthemag selects to be the jury. The Judge keeps his role for as long asa Bdthemag deems fit. The Jury is switched out everytime someone is sent to court. The Judge and Jury then decide on what punishment the offender should get. The Judge's vote counts as two whil[e the normal jury member's count as one. Bdthemag can void any punishment voted on if he finds it unfair.

I do not accept this. It is very easily led to corruption.

What is this, I don't...
I never done this yet...
Explain to me, please...

Class Proposal: King
Perk: Hail to the King Baby!- The King's vote counts as three normal votes.
Flaw: There can be only one!- Only one person can be the king, Bdthemag starts with this class and can choose to give it to whoever he wants at any time without voting.
I will accept this Class as a possibility as long as this class below is accepted...

Class Proposal: Unsatisfied Peasant - May only be take at any time the King Votes against your Proposal 3 times in a row.
Perk: REBELLION!!! - You may entice Rebellion at any time, your call of Rebellion must be responded to by D6 players for it to succed. After that one member of that Rebellion becomes the king at Random.
Flaw: Suppressed - If no one answers your call you will be unable to make a proposal and must accept anything the King suggests or agrees on for 24hrs, after that you can propose to change your class. The King may deny this, his vote counting as 2. If he does so Twice, you may use Rebellion again...

The entire point of nomic is to rules-lawyer your way to power and riches. Where's the fun if you're going to ban be from the game for trying to play?

Class Proposal: Dicemaster
Perk: Lucky One-  When you vote for a proposal Bdthemag will roll 1d4, the number he gets is what your vote counts for besides the number 4.
Flaw: Unlucky- If Bdthemag rolls a 4 then your vote counts as a negative against the total number of votes, bdthemag will then roll again, the number he gets is the number of votes taken away from the proposal.

Passed

Class Proposal: Bureaucrat
Perk: Red Tape - You may chose to hold up a proposal. While held up a proposal may not be passed or failed. You may only hold one proposal at a time, and you must wait a day after you stop holding up a proposal before you can use Red Tape again
Flaw: Incompetence - You may never under any circumstances gain extra votes

Class Proposal: Kitty
Perk: Too cute to persecute - You may ignore any penalty or punishment that you would otherwise suffer by posting a lolcat
Flaw: I CAN HAS! - You automatically vote for any proposal if the person proposing it sets his Avatar to be a picture of a Cheezburger

Class Proposal: Necromancer
Perk: Wrath of Nomics Past - Once a day you may choose a rule or goal from any other Nomic on the Bay12 forums. That rule or goal is in effect for the next 12 hours. You may never target the same rule or goal with power more than one time a month.
Flaw: Wrath of the Mods - Any proposal you make fails if Bdthemaq or Toady One votes against it

Class Proposal: Bulimic
Perk: Purge - Once per week you may declare a purge. Any posts you made the previous day are completely ingored and negated. Modify the rule list to reflect any changes your lack of voting causes.
Flaw: Can't Hold it In - Your proposals automatically fail if they are not passed within 12 hours.
Passed

I propose that if any rule breakers refuse to submit an apology, they must attempt a logical conversation with Cleverbot.
Passed

I propose that Grek be penalized for being a smartass
Passed, Grek's punishment is yet to be voted on.

I propose a class assignment committee be formed. The Committee will consisted of Bdthemag and two players of his choosing. For a player to add, drop, or change a class 2/3's of the committee must endorse his or her decision. Bdthemag can appoint someone to the committee at will, but must pass a formal proposal to remove somebody from the committee.

I propose that as punishment Greck must write a paper of at least half a page in length summarizing and reviewing a thread of his choice from either the DF Community Games & Stories  or Forum Games and Roleplaying board. The paper must be uploaded and linked to this thread for all to see.

I vote Grek has to say two hundred (200) unflattering things about himself.
