----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Deceit will be a game where eight players will be thrown into a mansion where there is a killer trying to kill them and get away with it! Other players may also have different motives and conditions to win but the main goal is to stay alive! I will accept eight players, 1-2 of them will be a murderer, while the others will either be innocent or different roles yet to be revealed!
The game will take place in a mansion with eight different rooms, the dining room, the ballroom, the study, the basement, the treasury, the antique room, the workshop, and the bedroom. Each room will have their own properties and items that can be found in them.
Gameplay
Gameplay will happen like this, at the begginning of the game the eight players start in the dining room. They can
then choose to move room to room to investigate or search for items. When a player enters a room a notice roll will happen,
this roll will be 1d10, depending on the roll they will either notice a player being there but not getting their
identity right, or noticing a player and getting their identity right, or with really bad rolls not noticing anyone at all!
all rolls will be hidden of course.
Event Cards
Random Event Cards will be added into the mix, they can happen to multiple players or just one. An example
being Bob heard something break in the ballroom, he can then tell the others if he wishes that he heard something break
in the ballroom. Other players will have to decide if he's telling the truth, or trying to seperate them
Second Chance System
Second Chances will be the main health system in the game, each player at the start of the game gets one
Second Chance. Second Chances work like this, if a player has a second chance with them and they do something
that gets themselves killed or another player kills them then they pass out not knowing who did it. They wake up later,
but their second chance is used up. Players can search for various second chances in the mansion, some will give you one
instantly, while others will only give it to you while your holding it. Other weaker ones may only work in certain
situations.
Movement
Movement will work like this, you use your turn to move to a room. Once I get all turns then I will roll to see if you notice anyone in the room,
if no one is in the room then I will just say "You don't notice anyone in the room." there will also be rolls involved to see if any mishaps happen
on the way there.
Murder System
So, you think you figured out who the murderer is? Or you just want to get rid of the pesky innocent following you. Heres what you do,
first you want to sneak up on the person, killing someone who hasn't noticed you is alot more easy than killing someone who does notice you.
If they have a second chance then they wake up not knowing who did it, if they don't they die and are removed from the game. If you fail the person you
are attacking notices you are attacking them the action will fail, you will then have to try to convince people that you were doing something else.
Some items can be set up to provide a bonus to killing, example being a turned on furnace Mwhahahhahah.
Win Conditions
To win the game the murderer must be dead, there are also other win conditions depending on your role. Depending
on your role the game may not end if the murderer is dead. Examples being a burglar who can only win if he
breaks into the treasury and steals all of the money located inside.
To join simply say In in bold letters.
