So, has anyone been following this? You play as a bounty hunter on an alien world, using your mad parkour skills and technology to catch your targets. Looks like Mirror's Edge meets Mass Effect meets Red Dead Redemption, which is a pretty nice combination IMO.

There's a new trailer out now, and holy hell is it amazing. No gameplay though, hopefully there'll be some at E3. There's also a PC Gamer preview and a RPS one, if you want an explanation longer than one sentence. I've never played the first Prey (though I did read a walkthrough), but it never seemed very interesting. I'm glad they took a different route with the sequel, even if they could've just outright made it a new game.

I played through Prey just recently, after hearing about the sequel. It has its moments, but it has its dreary trudge through samey corridors and repetitive puzzles, too.
Prey 2 looks far more like my kind of game. And yes, the trailer is brilliant. From the screenshots it appears to have captured the best bits of Prey (such as the visual design) and spliced it with Blade Runner. I'm basically sold on a collector's edition already.

It's too early to tell how this one will turn out, I think. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out on it, though.

Because it is.

Looks pretty awesome, would look more awesome if I weren't sure that they just randomly moved blue and black blotches around on the screen until they formed semi-coherent images.  I have no idea what the hell is going on in like half the trailer.

Sorry guys, i kind of freaked when i couldn't find the PC logo at the end of the trailer X)

Oh well, let's just be happy that it's coming to the platform that spawned the first game ^^

Unless they fixed games for windows, I would consider getting it on the console if possible ;)

From the preview, they said it's a mix of Stalker and mirror's edge... But you're not running from people with parkour... You're running into people to kill them.

Sounds good to me. Plus I like bounty hunting themes. I hope there are random bounties, something AssCreed always missed.
