Postal is correct in every respect. Load times are annoying, but I think of it as the only death penalty. Lip sync tech seems like half-life 2 to be honest, but as he said the voice acting is stellar. Cinematics are also amazing. Unfortunately, this game has made it impossible for me to play E.Y.E. again.

Question: HL2, HL2Ep1, or HL2Ep2? As I recall, Episode 2 had the best lip-syncing tech out of the three.

So i am playing the first mission, i took the tranq rifle but i must be retarded because theres no crosshair and I cant figure out how to go into scope mode no matter how much googling i have done. I cant hit a dman thing with this gun.

How to scope mode?

I can get the iron sights or scopes on rifles, but how do you aim the stun gun without a cross hair? middle mouse does nothing...

There's an option to turn on a crosshair. I liked having it off, but I ended up turning it on because when you're using the cover system and peeking out, the middle mouse button doesn't work on all the guns - it does with the scope on the tranq gun, but not the iron sights on the 10mm pistol. I haven't tried all the guns to see which ones it works with, but I wouldn't be surprised if it only works with scopes.

You can always use laser sights, of course - if they can be installed on that gun.

the original is a classic, but this new version is so good (so far!) I say just go for the new one. The stories dont really seem interconnected.

BTW, you should also install Deus Ex Enhanced - but don't install the 2.0 version, because it returns an error about mipmaps when you start the game. It also won't look right with the HDTP.exe that comes with HDTP, so make sure to use the deusex.exe from Deus Exe.

Stun gun can't aim like other guns.

Although the thing is ridiculously effective in the first "boss fight". Kinda strange how you can mortally wound him with it though.

Also, has anybody else managed to get dead bodies with the Tranquilizer Gun? Sometimes it knocks the target out, other times it shows me they died (and Alert dialogue seems to confirm that).
