Lucky of you to get a ground type right before what seems to be the electric gym. It's typical of these game to let you get a type advantage before a hard fight but with nuzlocke you never know what jumps out of the grass first. What were the other options in this area?
Oh bother, that's what I was gonna do- a "wow these Pokemon are retarded" bit. It's been bugging me for a WEEK. Sandile is far and away most common, followed by Scraggy and a ridiculous Fire type. I haven't stomped around the Desert Resort enough to know if it has something else, but I imagine not.
And yeah, the free type advantage is dumb. Cilan/Cress/Chili had those monkies, Lenora was surrounded by Fighting types, Burgh is adjacent to a Flying type and the aforementioned Fire type, and now Elesa is just north of the Ground type. Part of the FUN of Nuzlocke is screwing with that dynamic somewhat by forcing you to use Pokemon you never would on a regular run.
Bah! You kids nowadays are too soft! Back in my day we had to beat our first pokeyman into submission ourselves! And our duels ended with one trainer getting pounded into pulp! Literally! Uphill, through six feet of snow!
I thought this image was neat.
Must. Resist. Urge. To. Create. Medevil. Pokemon. Thread.
This picture fits perfectly with the feudal interpretation of pokemon society.
Yes.
Also, wouldn't giving nedoking amour be detrimental, it’s covered in poisonous barbs/spines, so unless it can dress itself you'll lose a few guys just by getting its armor on.
This only serves to increase my desire for a grimdark, top down tactical Pokemon RPG
