Well if my options are causing the world to burn, and finding a peaceful way to co-exist, then I say we find the peaceful way.

@Taricus: Brutal Suppression I'm afraid. No rebellions. It probably doesnt stop espionage related ones but those are only a small worry to me right now.

Really? You know that CG could just be planning to fund those so he doesn't have to rule with you...

Well, it all depend on what you mean by strong position. Me, BD and Phantom can destroy this planet. It's like Paul Atreide, that got power because he could destroy the Spice. It doesn't matter how many troops, provinces and money you've got. You could be one thousand time as strong as we are, we would still be equal in death.

Free Adwarf's lands.

How about this Terenos, you free Adwarf's lands or I activate my tech and give it to Phantom and Sheb.

Okay, and Taricus. Terenos, you can eliminate me. But can you really eliminate two other people who have access to my technology? I think not.

Very well then. I attempted to create a peaceable solution. You think that simply because you've got the potential for a superweapon, you can threaten me with extinction?

Theres a few ways this goes. Either you've got nothing and you're hoping I fall for the bluff, reducing my power to a containable level. Or you've actually got a big gun, in which case I cant yield to your demands anyways, cause that sets a bad precedent.
Now I understand saying "Burn the world." makes me seem like a bad guy. But I was willing to deal.

Burn the world. I'm All In. Call.

So be it then Terenos, prepare to be surrounded by three enemies with an insanely devastating technology.

Yeah, Bdthemag, you did the same mistake Terenos accused me of: not letting him any way out. Now, we're either forced to loose the war and our face, or burn the world. Great choice.

Terenos, my offer still stand: your deal and freedom for that highland off your coast. I'll convince my hothead friend.

You know what? I still don't think so.
Of course, with an additional concession from my opposition, It could be considered. What i'm giving up is ~$300,000 in income. And I'd be allowing a player into the game who would have absolutely no reason to keep me breathing.
Admittedly, this does move me more towards parity with the remaining world powers. Where you're wrong in thinking, is that I want that. I don't want that. I don't really need to consider deals that weaken me that much.

What if I offer you Economic 6 to sweeten the deal? That would negate the loss in income. And we can include clause about adwarf's maximum military forces if you want.

I want disclosure on that tech - IF it's as threatening as you say it is, I'll concede to your Giant Stick being bigger than mine.

Why in gods name would I give away what my tech was to someone who is allied with my enemy?
