Ooh, can we each be allocated a certain place to build our own houses?

Actually, a town would make invasions more fun...

Actually this would be more fun when a new world is started with the update. We could literally start a town from nothing and expand outwards and downwards. I'd even start a new character, but i'd mug some bricks from myself to speed things up. Or maybe I wouldn't.

I'm totally up for us all starting with new characters in a new world with nothing. Sounds like bucket loads of fun to me.

I have a char that I never used and has only some gel and dirt on her. I will reserve her for next world, then ;D

So, as soon as we get an update, we start clean and fresh and new in a world where we struggle to survive.
As we can't be on the server around the clock, and there will be pressure to find cool stuff, I suggest when you log out you store all your stuff in chests. That way other people can use them when you don't need to, and hopefully they will put everything back when they are done.

Real community fort we got going!

I might still bring some stone. I'd only be building something small to begin with, so I may not need to.

I might import a ton of obsidian bricks later on, when people start using it, as I gots to use the stockpile for something.

I can imagine us defending the village from stuff with flintlocks and muskets. It's all so old timey.

I wish there were more powerful invasions though. Like big bones!

I'll bring a hellstone brick. Singular. I mean you can't even do anything with hellstone bricks. Except put them around and watch them sparkle.

Ooh, relevant. As I've told all of you if we start a new world we could try the PVP tournament thing. Since there's 4 shields there'd be a max of 4 teams. Also I think we'd have some time at the start to build basic homes, so it isn't "join and done". It could be done with hardcore characters (killed by a monster, you can come back, killed by player, and you're out). Of course then the player killed by the monster will have to be given new stuff.

The starting forge/workbench or whatnot could be communal! We will work together and succedd together! Workers of the world unite!

Actually,if we were definately  going to go PVP we could have rival villages. I'm not sure about hardcore though...

Except no being North Korea and digging your way into the opposing town.

Not sure how PvP would work for a long going world... There would be times when only one person is logged in, and then loot and grief ahoy!

But yea, start off as a communal force, rather than every man for himself.

Maybe if only one person is on they're not allowed to take or destroy stuff?
Can Haspen and I demolish the dirt/stone building near spawn? It's kind of ugly and is taking up a lot of space.
