I assume the AoS server will be started back up if/when thingo finds out a way to reduce the bandwidth use.

Ok, so people seem to want PvP in a brand new world with new characters when we get that update, as such, I suggest the following rule set for a few days to see how things go.

Dwarfcore Mode.
-Start with new worldgen.
-New hardcore characters ONLY.
-PvP is on always.
-If you die, you are free to make a new character.
-On logging out, all held items must be put in a chest. This is to keep useful items in circulation, as opposed to one person getting the orb of light or cloud in a bottle then not logging on again. If you want to keep your items safe, better hide your home well, or get on well with people.
-No meta game exploits or bug abuse. That means no disconnecting and connecting again to get back to spawn, and no water creation.
-Spawn point is sacred, try to not get into PvP there, or fill it with magma or something like that.


So although it allows for PvP at any time, it doesn't revolve around it. Just like a fort of dwarfs, people might end up working together happily, or somebody might get greedy and kill somebody else for that cool hat, and start a tantrum spiral leading to mass death and chaos. The point is that with the aspect of progress in a world where players can both help or hinder you, it should make things much more interesting.

Ehh.

I don't want to do it for my first version of the new version.

I'd rather we do it from time to time, but make it more regular than it is now.

P.S You can make the lava deadlier by widening the pits. I like to rocket jump acreoss them, so they aren't too deadly atm.

Oh it is that thing, it is most defiantly that thing. Even if it was another thing, that is now the thing.

Edit: Oh god, racing through it is sooo much fun! Get some friends together to see who can finish first.

After you left we decided to make the race more fun. We decided to summon the eater whilst racing. I got to the later dirt bits before the head got me.

Oh yeah, I got to the other planned treasure area, past the earlier pits. I wonder ehat we'll put there.

For extra !!FUN!!, bring your own worm food, and use only minisharks for lighting!

Also, somebody should make a track that extends to hell itself, and going back up to the surface.

If I get the right to place spikes then I will mix things up a bit... That bit with the grey stone bricks needs to be a little harder than a straight fun.

Although come to think of it, with a little effort it would make for great team PvP. Add a tunnel going down from the white tower, and a bed and roof access to the dark tower, and you are set. Capture the flag anybody?
You could take the straight path over the surface, with high visibility, or the path underground where nobody can see you but it takes longer and is highly venerable to ambush.

I'll probably add hellstone and meteorites in there too, forcing you guys to trudge through red kool-aid in order to get to a shorter path. Hope you didn't bring your obsidian skulls.
