Other than a similar name, there's no relation. Though in PSIV, you'll notice the ship you use is the Landale (Alis' last name) while

Played though PSIV as a kid... Aeris' death has nothing on this classic. Going back and hearing the original song still makes me sad... and I don't tend to get sad often.

Suggestings graves for any vidja game character that is canonically dead at the game/series end.

Also, just expanded the catacombs for another 18 gravestone spots.

Can I suggest the KLEE-SAN from HW:Cataclysm? Not a character in and of itself, but a named ship nonetheless. Plus losing it to the Beast right after it consumed the KUUN-LAN's lower decks, forcing you to jettison them while the converted crew screams in agony...

Sigurd. He may not be as awesome as, say, Aira, but still, the poor guy had to go through a lot of crap at the end of the first half of the game.
