I've noticed that people tend to have strange little tendencies that may or may not be heald be others. I have created this thread for the purpose of asking about such acts.

So, does anyone else mentally read commas by moving their center of vison in a circle over it, creating a momentary mental halt in the sentence? Such as the one you just read?

I stop on commas for a good second or so. What you described just feels unnatural to me

I notice that I tend to do it sometimes; but my case is more with semi-colons. Then again, I think I tend to use commas, as well as semi-colons, in their proper grammatical context. I try to hold back on setting up my thoughts/posts like that as much as possible.

I have a problem with the number four. It has to be drawn the correct way like "4", not the other thing "Ч".

Anyways, I don't think I do the comma thing, but then I sort of read in good sized blocks and then parse it in my head verbally anyways.
