Okay, then. I'll roll the dice ASAP.Scriver: Scout down beach (4).
You head off east down the beach, and around your little bay. After a while, you crest a small hill, and the rest of your crew fades from your view. You find several mud burrows that hold lobsters, but cannot manage to get any of them out. Off in the distance, in the ocean, you see three humongous whales jump out of the water. Nearer to the shore, however, you spot numerous fish. This would likely be prime fishing area. After a while, you head back to the rest of the group.
Darvi: Read ticket (3). Gather wood (3).
You pull the ticket from your pocket and study it for about an hour. If there is a pattern to the garbage on the ticket, you can't find it. Undaunted, you decide to go gather wood instead of wasting any more time. You find a few very hefty fallen branches and drag them back to camp, before being called over by Askot to help.
Sonerohi: Scout inland (3). Geology (14!).
You set off immediately inland, into the dense forest. The forest floor is covered in pine needles, which makes it hard to spot some of the gnarled roots sticking up from the ground. After about an hour's slow walk, you come upon a clearing. In the clearing is a small, stream fed spring, and a bunch of eye-catching stones. Most of the stones themselves are small, but belie a both volcanic and glacial nature. Much of what you find is volcanic basalt, but you also find granite. Amongst one of the basalt stones, you find a fist sized chunk of magnetite. You take it back to the rest of the group.
Choobakka: Build Shelter (1).
Burnt Pies comes over to help you as you think about how to build the perfect shelter. She calmly asks what you'll be building the shelter out of, and to your horror, you realize that you have no materials. After a few moments lost in sulking, Askot calls the two of you over to help, and you spend the rest of the afternoon feeling like an idiot and hauling wood.
Askot Bokbondeler: Scout the surrounding area (2), look for bushcraft materials (29!!).
You scout around your current site for a while, determining that you have ocean water in a bay to your south, beach stretching out east and west, and curving south along the bay, and to your direct east, north, west, and all points in between lies a very dense conifer forest. It is about 50F, with a light breeze. It is early afternoon. The waves in the distance are small, but pronounced. After about an hour, you decide to look for stuff to build with. You head into the forest, and after a short, slow walk you stumble upon what appears to be the motherlode of materials. Neatly gathered are 10 long thorny vines, 30 large, sturdy branches, and 25 rough boards, as well as a small and rusty metal box full of rusty nails. There are also 10 large logs laying in a heaped, awkward pile. You call everyone over to help haul this stuff back to the beach. After you get almost everything hauled to the beach, you notice something sticking out from under one of the logs on the bottom of the pile. After you pull the log up, you realize that it is what remains of a human skeleton. Almost everything about this skeleton has rotted away, but it is wearing a pair of very weatherworn military issue boots. They wouldn't be comfortable, but if the occasion arises, they'd be better than nothing. Embedded into the ground near the skeleton, you also find a dull, rusty steel hatchet, a dull, rusty Ka-Bar knife, and a rusty steel spade.
Burnt Pies: Help Choobakka (3).
You walk up to Choobakka, who is drawing a pseudo-blueprint in the sand with his fingers. He finally acknowledges your presence, and you ask him what to build with. He looks horrified for a moment, and eventually mumbles, "Sand, I guess." Not having anything else to do, you sit down until Askot calls everyone over to help haul stuff out of the forest.
Cache: 10 thorny vines, 33 large branches, 25 rough boards, small rusty metal box [100 rusty nails], 10 logs, very old weatherworn military issue boots, dull rusty hatchet, dull rusty ka-bar knife, rusty spade, fist sized lump of magnetite.

The wind picks up a little. It looks as if it is going to start raining very soon. It is getting cold.
