This seems pretty cool.  I have played LCS quite a few times before ( but never won mind you  :P ) and I would like the chance to play.  Unfortunately, I don't know how to post saves or screenshots or anything like that on this server.  I'd love to join if you tell me how.

I'm really inexperienced at this, so I'm going to have to retract my application ( what a conservative way of saying it..).  I'm afraid I don't have the time and I'm also worried that I'll screw it up  :(.  Don't worry, I still very much support the idea of another succession game, and I hope that your game won't end up crashing and burning like a liberal car chase.  Good luck to you.

... Sigh.

Well, er, did I do well enough last time to be considered for this, or shall the LP this time around be for the more experienced and skilled players?

I got to admit, I really lost interest last time thanks to no one writing anything interesting for their turn summaries/reports/stories (though i did have to delay it for being busy, that's why I didn't come back).

It's hard to maintain interest when theres no effort put in to make people care.

I most definitely would write interesting stuff and am skilled enough to not fuck up things a lot. But guess what's coming? Graduation weekend! Several of my younger friends and relatives are graduating from Upper Secondary, Vocational etc. I'll be lucky if I get to touch my computer next weekend!

In short, I'm fairly interested if there's room, if I don't have to play next weekend and if everyone promises to write splendid turn reports.

You playing with latest trunk or release? Trunk has a lot less bugs, I think. At least that's what I've been aiming at.

That feel when you want to see a complete LCS succession game.

I understand your frustration, but please be respectful. Part of the excitement of a succession game is when things go wrong, and LCS is designed to be rough and unforgiving. I regularly get my founder killed doing stupid things, and I've been playing the game for more than seven years.

Yeah, the best part of LCS is surprise recoveries (which I imagine to cause conservatives to have "WHAT THE [PANCAKE]!?" reactions).

I once had a raid go totally awry. Everyone was dead except my founder, who was put in jail for life. The CCS was active. Things seemed very bad.

Then, a touch of hope emerged as a hacker, who had spent several months in jail and who I had almost forgotten about, was released. No skills apart from rather decent hacking stats. But it would have to do! The hacker raised a lot of money by credit card fraud, stole several cars to boost her security skills, trained disguise making and using them. Everything was done carefully, and it took a long time. Eventually, after dozens of months of training, she just waltzed in, picked up the leader, and moonwalked out.

The leader proceeded to win the game.
