Mmmm, Were-elephant.

So, with .26 looming, I figured I'd go into a bit of speculation. Assuming you can butcher a were-creature in its animal form, how long do you think it will be before someone has set up a were-farm? You capture goblins, get them infected, kill them in their infected form, and butcher the corpses. It would work best with something big, like elephants. Or even better, an ocean creature that wold suffocate upon transformation. You'd need away to keep the infecting were-creature alive though.

I'd have thought conservation of mass would be in effect, so getting a were-creature with a high multiply value would be better.

Were-giant eagles. You wait until they transform, then let them go. They start flying away, but don't get very far before the moon phase changes and they transform back. Many z-levels above ground. I picture them doing a Wile E. Coyote routine, flying on for a moment before they realize they no longer have wings, then a double-take, followed by a plummet to a <SPLAT!>.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

I imagine whales to be the best, if most difficult.  How do you get a whale to transmit its disease?  They're not very prone to biting people...  Either way, all you need to do is get them infected!  Then a month later, they'll be walking around, and suddenly become enormous and air-drown.

Is it wrong for this to remind me of Oprah?

Anyways, you could lock it in a 5/7 room with a bunch of elves and/or goblins. Then it'll keep attacking them until it eventually bites them  :D

Surely you could override [AT_PEACE_WITH_WILDLIFE] by stuffing them all in an enclosed space, like how restrictive pastures lead to brawling?
