Heck with engraving. Assign him as your bookkeeper. Less paperwork!

Should you fail to comply, strict !!disciplinary actions!! will be taken. Also, we feel we should remind you that one of the "criminals" on your list is the chief medical dwarf. If he ends up too badly injured to do his job, you will be fired. Out of a magma cannon.
Sincerely,
The Administration

Dwarves engrave with their beards, hands are optional.

only one opening you mined out so far. also, prepare for FPS-death
How does FPS death work exactly? Does it roughly halve your fps regardless of what it was originally? Does it have something to do with map size? I read through Gemclod recently and they took a massive hit upon opening up the spire (4fps or something). I opened up Hell on an established fort and went from 90 to 50. So it's not guaranteed that your fortress will grind to a halt.

(I swear, this fortress's sole reason for growing and attracting more dwarves is to have an army of haulers ready to pick up and smash the crap left by the invaders attracted by all the dwarves and goblin bone items in the fort.)

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
