   Hello there Bay12!

  So recently I've been browsing through the Forum games and roleplay section... to see a rather lack of Roleplays. While there's plenty of DnD games, handfulls of strategy, turn based games there's very few roleplays. And none like what I'm planning currently. For those of you in the dark to what I mean by roleplays, i'll explain it by linking to an actual roleplay forum. http://roleplayerguild.com/f9/. This is roleplay without stats which end up bogging down things, or making it actually harder than Dwarf fortress to learn. And this being Bay 12, I expect by the time we're through the world in this MegaRoleplay will be looking like a dwarven fortress (Probably Boatmurdered).

  Also, this being Bay12 the Roleplay in question will be of course inspired by Dwarf fortress. Meaning, that's right, it's a high fantasy setting. And like Dwarf fortress, I plan on updating this very often. Now you may wonder what I mean by update often. I plan on adding new forms of content often, for example new continents being discovered, ancient ruins unearthed, tomes of power being stolen, the usual fantasy mish mash.

  Also, I plan on making a huge world, and I mean a HUGE world. There'll be all sorts of factions, creatures, civilisations, locations and history scattered about. And, since this is a roleplay i'm going to let Bay 12 run free. Yes there will be a plot of sorts underway, but you're free to do what ever you want. Do you want to run a thieves guild? Go for it. Farm plants, then poison them? Why not. Become a member of the city guard? Go ahead!

  Now, i've made this topic for a couple of reasons.

• It will serve as a planning and wishlist thread, meaning that if you want something in the roleplay then you can have it.
• In the future, it will serve as an OOC thread, also to discuss new things that should be added.

   The rest is currently being worked on, although you can sign up to say you're going to take part below.

I like to roleplay...sort of. It's hard if your trying to roleplay all by yourself, which is what usually happens here...

Generally more planned out than land of the lost dimensions. Oh sure I expect chaos will ensue eventually, since i'm willing to bet at least one person will try to flood the world with magma.

 Also, there's going to be a lot of kobolds. I'm thinking of sort of a primary and secondary race system currently. So that we could have things like kobolds dotted everywhere, but not to the point where they might as well be running the world.

Got everyone on the list so far. From the rough map i've drew up i've got an estimate of eight continents (along with one special one), four island chains (as in large groups of islands), two generally large islands and lot of tiny ones dotted about. Of course currently this is all subject to change.

Advice post:
Not sure how useful it would be here, but Evernote is quite useful for keeping track of stuff in multiplayer forum games.

I think it would be an easier option to just make your own forum for it.

Its easier to sort out whos talking to who and where they are talking.

Its also easier for new comers since they do not have to brush up on 1000+ pages of dialoge to get the story.
