For horror I'd have to say Werebadgers; your dwarves spontaneously grow claws and fangs and get enraged at everyone in the dining hall.

For lulz I'd have to say Werekobolds; The most adorable thieves ever!

Seriously I want to make were-dwarf syndrome then infect kittens with it, for little pet mutant dwarves. Lunar phases on syndromes is going to be a separate tag, so we can make it a permanent condition too.
