Just seeing if anyone's interested in a Let's Change History game of the latest version of MEIOU (download here).

I've just done a game where I've managed to unite Ireland within 50 years and it has a bunch of oddities that I'd love we played with, so feel free to sign up.

Will post the save etc when people are interested.

I just aged this game (set myself playing as Hawaii and went 20-odd-years onwards) and holy crap does MEIOU make the map weird.

Nazca seems to be the dominant power in South America, the Byzantine Empire (called Roman Empire in game) is returning to it's former glory, Ireland's (sadly ) met a demise, Sweden's got a foothold in Scotland and seems to be the major issue with England's rise to Great Britain (since Sweden seems to own most of Scandinavia) etc etc.

Are we talking multiplayer? In that case I'd like to, though my Meiuo atm is very heavily modified by myself.

Problem with MEIOU is that it's presently extremely buggy and unbalanced when it comes to the Steppe Hordes in particular. China never forms, Bohemia tends to blob up to ridiculous levels, and AI colonization happens waaaay too slowly. The Ottomans refuse to expand, the Pope is way too aggressive, and certain things behave strangely.

At the start of the game, England Anglois cultured, which is in a French Culture Group [Langue d'oc group, southern france/occitania], however, when colonies culture shift, rather than becoming Colonial Oc as they should, they become Colonial British, which they should not. The game seems to assume that England ought to go down the historical path of moving away from it's cultural ties to France, rather than finding victory in the Hundred Years War, and becoming France itself.
