I am officially irked.
I'm mostly using this to learn a little more about modding. And don't worry, it won't be as good as yours.
Then do a Dorf Rising or Left 4 Dorf or something D:
But there are already mods for that.... damnit. Do you really want me to stop?
I'm fairly annoyed. I'm about to release the Dorf Space mod, too.

This will likely take me about 2 weeks to get even playable, muchless something presentable. But I won't steal your thunder.

It is. I'm assuming yours can be killed quickly? Mine will be outright impossible to kill quickly, and you must wait for them slowly bleed to death to kill them. Piercing is only good for making them die faster. Edged weapons are the middle ground, making them bleed and disabling them. Blunt is only good for disabling them, rather quickly. Blunt alone however, won't kill them, only make them into a pile of flesh slowly crawling towards you.

well having them still alive works with the fiction as your not really killing them but making them unable to kill you.
now the off chance of being push to death by a limbless necromorph is just fitting with the DF engine.

Scout, just do what you do and ignore the bitching...it's not like he owns the rights to Dwarf Fortress or Dead Space, and you are building it yourself and not copying his files...so even if your mod sucked, you'd have learned something and shared what you learned...

About time someone started it :).

I've started it too, but decided to spend my time on Genesis/new shadowrun instead.

You should make a "necromorph" variation and apply it to most normal creatures you use. It will totally work.

The reason I named it dorf space is because it is a mod of Dwarf Fortress.

Have you seen any dwarves in Dead Space?

Have you seen any dwarves in Dead Space?

cut down some of the necromorphs legs, and then..well.... yes! just add them axes and make them come from a bearded man. a VERY bearded man.
