Were-dwarf.
" Yeah, so, every full moon, apparently I turn into this dwarf named Urist. It could be a lot worse, I guess, but I always wake up with the worst hangover imaginable afterwards and a dwarf in my bed."

I think that werecreatures use the same creature list that FB's do, so I want to be a werecockroach or werellama.

Did you know that if you write 3.14 on a piece of paper and hold it in a mirror, it will say pie? And if you divide 42 by 3.14... you get 13.37!

It is incredibly satisfying to kill a man with a butterfly.

"Urist McHauler cancels store item in stockpile: turning into roach"

oh yeah. oh circus yeah.

Don't you mean "Urist McKafka"?
Or "Gregor McHauler"?
Why not "Gregor McBroker cancels work: turning into roach"

Here is me acknowledging that I didn't read through the thread, and someone probably already beat me to a metamorphosis joke

One scary thing about werecarp:
If they are aquatic, they can't breathe air. If it manages to maul a few dwarves anyway, they will turn into rabid infectious air-drowning agents of Armok McDavyJones. They might air-drown, or they might go to water, change back, and water-drown. If anyone else got infected, they would continue the cycle indefinitely. Werecarp spiral.

I really hope werecarp will be amphibious.

Well if it uses the same code for FBs, I really hope Toady fixes the bug where vermin-based FBs are ignored by everyone (except by cats of course!)...

I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but transformation into an entity with wildly different mass strains my suspension of disbelief. Where the excess mass come from\goes to?  ???

That's easy if you assume that werecreatures are 4-dimensional objects, and their shapes are different cross-sectios of their 4-body by our 3-space. So, excess mass is carried in and away by slow rotation or oscillation of 40dimensional werewolf body. Mass does not actually disappear but is transfered along the fourth dimensional axis!
