Can you beat that?
« on: May 27, 2011, 06:03:30 am »

This a fun little game that is popular on some forums and i thought i would perfectly stick to the Dwarf Fortress. Just take a screen shot of Action Log showing something unrepeatable (or in the game's case - unbeatable), and post it here with the little "can you beat that?" call. :)

I begin:

I tore guys heart and gave him another set of guts. Can you beat that? :P

I can just imagine what this bogeyman was thinking right before he got hit.

Don't have screenshots, at hand, but wandering through one of my caverns was an FB that was a humanoid form of charcoal, and shortly afterwards, somewhere else in the caverns, there was an FB that was a humanoid form of fire.

As yet, they haven't met (the fire one has at least momentarily wandered out of sight, but has left behind a lot of burning cave vegetation, the charcoal was definitely in a completely different bit of the caverns when its counterpart arrived), but I'm going to definitely make appropriate screenshots if they do! :)

Doesn't really count, but...
One time playing the Saecular mod, my character died in mortal combat with a bandit leader.
Cue new adventurer, who gets ambushed by the same guy, and my last adventurer's axe is STILL LODGED in the bandit's arm, so I walk up, grab it, and wrench it out. :)
I do have a screenshot, actually, but it's not of the action log, so oh well. :P

If its not action log, you can still post it, as far as bragging rights are concerned :)

Action log is kind of like a proof.

I don't have a picture, but once I threw an iron helm at someone.
It jammed the captain's rib through his heart.
