I got to say, I've been playing this multiplayer lately and its a lot of fun.  The level of strategy and the randomness of the levels has been keeping it fresh.

At first it seems a little dull, as you have to wait around forever between turns waiting for your opponent to hopefully finish his turn, but then you start to see the opportunity.  This game caters to people with low attention span like me.  :)

Waiting for a turn?  Perfect time to:

- Read comics
- Read your book
- Do some pushups
- Write some code
- Clean the dishes
- Pay some bills
- etc

You can also play multiple matches at the same time. It'll notify you when you need to take a turn in a match that you're not active in and it'll give you an option to jump straight there. I wish the price would drop so more bay12ers could get their hands on this excellent game, then we could organize a tourny or something.

This game could honestly give out hand jobs for free and people would still bitch.

I tried that once but my brain couldn't really keep track of two games at a time.  I think my win ratio would take a dive if I tried it consistently.

You can always replay the previous turns to refresh yourself as to what happened in that match. But not, you don't have to play more then one game at a time, but some people were complaining that the game was too slow so I figured it'd be worth pointing out that it's as slow as you want it to be.

This is worth another topic just for it.

You get a bunch of other games. Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds Survivor, Trine, Jack Claw or whatever the name is, and a pre-order for some game.

Got the bundle for $15, although I've seen plenty pay $0.01 or similar for it. It's interesting to see the statistics... Windows users pay $4 on average, mac users pay $5 something, and linux users $8 something.

Sure, as soon as i actually find out how. Stuff's on Gamersgate, the mac versions show "Gift This" buttons, the leftover PC one doesnt, however.

edit: Was announced that FS is coming to Ipad in 2012. Meh. Of note is that you will be able to play cross-platform against others.

Weird news.  Frozen Synapse: Tactics will be coming out for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this year.  This will be either a good or a bad thing, unless it isn't.  Let the knee jerking commence!

There wasn't any knee jerking :-[

Anyway, I'm playing it through again and am absolutely stuck on that mission, you know, the one where you have to guard the lift from a seemingly unending swarm of enemies.  Halp!
