Hey all,

So I am experiencing a strange problem: my adventurer's speed was 1500 but suddenly and apparently without a good reason, it dropped to around 500. The only thing I can think of is that I accidentally used a crutch and now my speed is limited by my crutch ability even though I don't need one.

Did ya try dropping the crutch?

If you are dwarf, dont drop the crutch. Learn walking with it until you are legendary (combine with sneaking and swimming)!

Are you sneaking, on the ground, or missing a leg?

If those are all no, then crutch.

Speed will also decrease with weight carried. Check your backpack to make sure that you didn't accidentally pick up a titan corpse or something.

Due to a bug if you pick up a crutch and put it in your back pack you carry on using the crutch. If you want to keep a crutch for emergencies you can drop the crutch you're carrying and then pick it up with something(i.e sword and shield) in both hands so it goes straight in your backpack or you can just train up crutch walking.

Haha, thanks for the suggestions guys. I actually tried all those things, but the glitch mentioned by snoopychicken got me. Thanks for the insight, bro! I was getting worried because if I got jumped by something it was going to be game set match with a measly speed of 500, haha.
