My favorite Embark, but it was a rough one as the entire embark site was soil and aquifer...






Yes, that is two brook sources going in opposite directions.

Yep, these happen quite often as well. About 1-2 per 1-3 worlds, I'd estimate. (Both with streams and with brooks, by the way).

I embarked on one with 3 sources once (3 sources are more common than just 2, in my experience), but then I wasn't really hit by any sort of inspiration for the map and left it again.

Your screen shot looks pretty rough. You know that you can zoom out, right?

Also, that's pretty cool. What does it look like on the embark map? A continuous stream?

That was from back in 40d... and it looked like this:



It was for a "Let's Play" on another board I'm on and was the random first choice result of the site finder.

(And upon review that wasn't the nasty aquifer embark.  There was no aquifer on this one.)
