that. is fucking. EPIC!

i've included the picture in the intro (Journal thread).

it seems that instead of wielding two battle axes Meng is holding a battle axe and a short sword, equally epic. i've modified the intro to match.

Yeah.  Thus why I didn't make a trap.  In it's current state the fortress didn't need a trap, the whole damn fortress is a trap.

I am also making a throne one. I intend to illustrate all moments of awesome in the game, time permitting.

But yeah, I was going to do the battle axe thing but I remembered that not all things can be slashed to death. Therefore he needed something to stab people to death with.

yeah, i wanted a world with lot's of resources for people to play with. i used df prospector on the site (after my turn was up) and there's literally hundreds of thousands of units of metal ores, we just have to find them. (i won't tell you which ones though)

I am working on the "Strike the Earth Image"

Here is my current progress

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Suggestions welcome. Especially on throne design. I will also have an elven slave girl to the left, and the rod he is holding will be an axe.

there should be a somewhat tattered and bloodstained banner behind the throne with a picture of a quiver, the symbol of the dwarven civilization.

and i'm still rooting for gems embedded in the throne (emerald maybe?)

For the slave girl:

Vadane Bridledglitters was an elf. She was one of the first of her kind.

In 124 Vadane became the druid of the Sculpted Jaws

In the early spring of 124 Vadane shot and killed Monom Workwill (previous general of the dwarven civilization) in Copperbalance

I would suppose she is still there, since Meng took over the next year.

I'd like to have another go at the end of the current line. :-)

pavel1269 just sent me this PM:

Kind of bad news. I just got home today, no chance then to play. And tomorrow I will be away the whole day again.

My turn hit me by the most rush days :)

Please move forward, as its taking too long.

Pavel

so it looks like we're skipping him and it's on to Lafiel. and you've been added again at the end of the list mideg.

P.S. i'll be away for the weekend, i hope you guys can manage without me if Lafiel finishes his/her turn in that time.

I'm a bit busy with my community fort right now so it might take a few days  8)  So don't worry about being late.

I'd like a turn, please. The next turn in line is preferred.

Re-add me at the end of the list, please (if the fort survives that long - it should, with my wonderful towers  :P)

excellent artworks, btw.

okay i've added you both to the list.

and let's not forget about the fancy gatehouse tower that i built, we can literally shut out the world, or shut in the underworld... whichever suits our needs better.
