My bad.

I made a diary entries page. Use it if you want to be more organized and such http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=85663.0

Seriously, you'll want to use this. It might get confusing if you just do it by separate posts.

Hush little baby, listen to my song,
Mamma's gonna tan you a troll leather thong.
And if that thong don't menace with spikes,
Mamma's gonna kill you whatever you like...

wow, i would've never thought of this, thanks a million! i've put the intro and my year in there. now that i'm organized (once again thanks to all who helped) i'll be requesting that all further journal entries be made there. (mideg, you can just copy and paste yours there).

time to retroactively edit the OP again ::)

Yeah.  Thus why I didn't make a trap.  In it's current state the fortress didn't need a trap, the whole damn fortress is a trap.

I am done and moved the diary entry.

I hope I did not add too many profanities. It was great fun to play, though not a lot of Fun happened. :-)

Save downloaded.

Since photobucket is blocked at work, I have absolutely no idea what the fortress looks like and how it is organised(and yes, my only internet acces is at work, shame on me). That'll be fun.

Normally, I will have my year finished by 13:00 tomorrow (Europe time).

And because it is best to set even minor goals right from the beginning, I promise not to hand a !!fortress!! to the next overseer.

well at least you didn't lose too many dwarfs on your turn, and i'm confused as to how a dwarf ended up in the pond in the first place. i made sure to forbid all movement through those areas.(using traffic zones).

Maybe he was frozen in the pond before you even got there.

Hey guys,
May I join? I found the file on DFFD and I found this thread. It seems pretty quiet (the thread I mean) so I'd like to join.
(Yeah I don't like extremely populated-with-people-in-line saves.)

I finished my turn, and will try to post about it during the morning.

Not a lot happened. We have a new defense system (Crossbows !), but I didn't dig a lot.
The cavern is sealed, and we have a staircase going down to the 20th z-level, protected by a drawbridge.

Also, Durkon is now a very unhappy baron.
