Okay, I've refunded the payment, hopefully.  I haven't tried it before, so we'll see how it works.  In general, one large donation is (very slightly) better than two small ones, because of the extra 30 cent fee that gets tacked on (fees are 2.9% + 30 cents, per donation).

edit:  It has all the currency conversion stuff, but the actual refund is marked "pending".  I'm not sure if there's something you have to do, or if it's just a matter of time.  They allow refunds for up to 60 days, so we have lots of time in case something goes wrong, anyway, before they shut the door on it.

Excuse me, is there any kind of russian person who knows a good way to make a donation? I'm a total newbie at this and Paypal needs some credit card (and conversions from WMZ to Paypal require at least 500 roubles fee! It's about 20 dollars...).
I have about 15 $ (in roubles) total finances, but if my boss pays me my 2 month payment in monday I'm gonna get about 250$ (in roubles again) and while my wife is on the vacation I'd like to donate some 10-20$ but I don't know how to do it easily without losing my money.

Thanks Toady,I haven't seen any backpayment yet, AFAI understand you need to approve or decline a payment when recieving.

ANyhow I also belatedly notice that I do not need to manually send money to PP from my bank, heh.

Funny thing is: I made the last order of 55 first, then sent 52 towards Tarn.
Apparently PP decided to get the money it needed first, not waiting for it to arrive.

Yeah, I accepted the donation when I got up this morning, before I saw this thread.  Then I clicked refund, went through their form, and now it says pending.  If you don't have a button to press over there, I guess it's just in electronic transfer limbo and might be for a day or two (or who knows).  I can send them a note in a couple days if it hasn't transferred by then.

Thanks to everybody that donated by the way!  I am eating food and stuff in your honor!  And there's even a little extra this time around.

I did recieve an email from pp with your note avout having read this thread etc. (it says 52E),
probably refund is defaulted as total transfer amount.

Money is being hauled by electronic dwarves, but they are currently all partying with Glaughdram at the microcline table.
