My main quibbles are the tiny inventory (I'm a hopeless packrat) and how the perspective obscures certain tiles adjacent to walls. Yeah, you get red outlines for monsters and (known) traps but it's still irritating.

My main quibble is most people default to using the mouse for control instead of the numpad.

Wait... your issue with a single player game is how other people play it?

The mouse controls _are_ pretty ick to play with.
Maybe because people criticize the controls when they use the mouse?

I use WASD to move and the mouse to manipulate items, attack, etc. Only problems with the mouse controls are that auto-moving isn't quite perfect and you can't walk to a tile next to you with a door. The mouse controls are helpful, and make things quicker and less tedious.

With the numpad you can stand in place and pass a turn. Works best to get your foes lined up properly without them getting a free shot in.

Watching other people play is painful when they use a mouse. They get frustrated a bit with the controls and end up not enjoying themselves.

Just a small reminder: the new DLC should be out later today!

There's an update which adds daggers, polearms, some core rebalances, and stealth/backstabs in, but is not the DLC. I have the update, but not DLC. :(

On the other hand, unless it was changed, mouse control makes managing traps a lot easier since it'll always prompt you before you step on one.

Ah, I was wondering how they were going to handle that. Now I'll test out polearms until the DLC comes out.

Oddly enough.. that should matter the least in this game.

Was it free? I can't find any on steam, though I saw it re-download.
