I've put an ingot press inside itself before. It works just fine. Only problem is that if you happen to close the ingot press window, you have to use the items in containers get shuffled around when loading the game "feature" to get it back if you are lucky.

I was just looking through Steam for games that will run on my 5-year old Macbook (which basically rules out anything with more than 2 dimensions), and I saw this.

The system requirements say it needs Snow Leopard. Is this actually true, or will it run on Leopard?

INTERNAL: Hidden Fun Stuff to make it so we can turn on the mod support without breaking everybody’s save games. (That said, we have to put it in the patch before the mod support so that… well, so that it doesn’t break everybody’s save games.)
INTERNAL: Hidden Fun Stuff, related to the Other Hidden Fun Stuff.
The HFS seems to have leaked from DF :P

Mod support is good news, though.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

BUT I WAS THE FIRST, so mine doesn't count. It was just a new piece of information then :\

So I played it for awhile, but got bored of it after a couple of hours. I was just going around killing the same creatures over and over, and everything takes so long that it takes forever to do anything. Especially if you need to go to some particular place...

Any ideas about how to make myself enjoy this a bit more?

Is there a way to change the resolution to settings that aren't the preset resolutions? Maybe I just missed an 800x600 but the window is just barely too big for my window monitor and it bugs me.

I did indeed miss a smaller resolution. Hooray!

Looks like Dredmor's getting a massive paid expansion sometime after next month's mod support patch.

I would pay for it.

Press +, it'll speed up all the animations.

THANK YOU!

Why is this not made massively more clear and obvious somewhere?! The game is just too tedious and slow with the default animation speed, it really makes it drag on.

Edit: paid expansion for a $5 game? heh.... I wonder how that's going to work. They will either have to charge almost nothing for it ($1 - $2) or it will have to be truly massive.

The expansion sounds like a great excuse for me to give them more of my money. I'm serious, they've earned it.

I'm just gonna crosspost this fanart I did earlier this morning in anticipation for Femhero. I know it's terrible, but it's close to the best I could do. Needs proper elbows, colors blend too much near pants, too much shadow, etc etc. Oh well.
