There is far more DF references than just that.
Oh, I'm well aware of that. The Dwarven Atom-Smasher is just one I noticed that was added with the CotW expansion. And it's an insanely powerful mace, which I'm all in favor of. 40-plus base damage, plus artifact modifiers? Yes, please. Imagine dual-wielding a pair of these.

Found two bolts of mass destruction in D1. Do they kill Drax?

I want his Bolt of destruction in one shop, or Timelord scarf & Lirpa in the other.

Edit: NOTHING CAN STOP THE DEBTORS!

Which is why i'm using the things from the shop to slice up everything in higher levels of Wizard zone. I've levelled up Dual-Wielding to max, and Tinkering, Polearms and Smithing to 3. or 4.

I'm going to keep going till i'm the awesomest.

Code from level 5. Melee ring with 3 block and lots of +rare exotic damages, ankh amulet, trap affinity amulet past the trap rune corridor. Switch in front of the magical crystal is safe, didn't try the other one from the empty room.

There's also a mini easter egg near the end, I won't spoil it.

Ah, coolio, I can manage level 5.

I've seen a few dead wizards, TARDIS-es and floating boxes, they're all wierd.

Just peeked through Dredmorpedia, and I noticed that they added a new mace-class hammer: the Dwarven Atom-Smasher.

In-game description: "Used by the Dwarves for one or another of their various projects that tend to result in unintended consequences. (Beware of stray transmutative thaumaturgons that may result from smashing atoms.)"

Always nice to see an inside joke that refers to another game you love.
On another note, there's also the Plump Helmet, the description of the Ingeniously Scythed Plastic Bolt, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I swear, the creators must be lurkers on the forums...

*sigh* well. Here's a new one.

Floor 6, polearm/shield tanky character's about 5% from leveling up. Sees a named wisp boss... full health at 98, invis pots and hoglanterns in case of emergency.... 85% block chance, 1-shot everything else on the floor...

I take one swing. It hits me for about 30. Okay, that sucks but I have javelins and invis pots. Non-named enemy wanders up and takes a shot, blocked, no damage. Then..... Then it skips my turn. Twice. Maybe it had a stun? I don't know because...

It attacked me several times in a row, but I got really lucky and countered a few. Then I died. THEN IT DIED. THEN I LEVELED. Then I died again, instantly. Nothing I have causes bleeds... and the game should have been over as soon as I died anyway. So apparently I killed something as a corpse after.. I dunno I guess I was stunned? combat log had long since scrolled past. So yeah, dumped to the score screen with full health.

YASD, and whatever, but ... wtf?

I really do love the new DLC but is anyone else disappointed that the the luggage from Discworld isn't a summon on the Tourist skill tree?
It would've been perfect with all the pocket dimensions.

Level 4 Wizardland, contains a few named rings and a named amulet, and a Dark Orb, as well as some miscallenny. No clone levers. Two halls filled with incandescence runes, if your trap affinity is high enough.

I recently picked up modding for this. Right now I have managed to make a skill that makes you hit something in the face 3 times and then knocks it away.

Has anyone made a dwarf mod yet? I would like to make one, but all I know is that the last skill should make a mine that atom smashes anyone who steps on it. Anyone have any ideas for other skills?
