battlefield shaper. You can send targets to our bulky hitters. I'm officially announcing my switch to a Telepath Psionic for Va.

Just so you know, my rogue is going to multiclass into a wizard and take levels in the prestige class Arcane Trickster. He would be nearly as powerful as a pure wizard of his level, but not quite. While that wouldn't really help with nuking at early levels, at later one he would be a good artillerist and battlefield shaper.

Well my telepathy is as I said, fluff respective. I'm really well suited to being a psionic, my stats and race make me super powerful.

Unless anyone has some reason to delay, I'm going to declare voting for the starting location closed and map out the tower we're attacking.

Ice and Guards?

I'm done with planing my advancement. Wall of Perilous Flame at level 11, Wall of Gloom at level 12 and Chilling Tentacles at level 13. That should be enough to herd most enemies into a cozy little killzone.

If you read it aloud its rather obvious but I completely failed to notice it while reading.

@Araph: What is your stance on leadership? Will we be able to get followers without it? Do we gain additional minions with it? Is it completely pointless for this campaign?

I'm going to say it's irrelevant to the campaign. You can recruit followers at any level, but I'm going to be judging your actions through their eyes. If they think they aren't profiting enough from following you, or if you're overly cruel toward them, or if they think they can make a grab for power, they'll betray you.

Ice and... Ohhhhhhhhh. I get it!

Atomic, have you considered the Dashing Swordsman Prestige Class? If you had made an attack while saying that, you would have landed it for sure.

If I keep making good ones, consider giving me their witty remark criticals for free? as a gift?

I might get the prestige class Acolyte of the Scythe at some point. If it's not OP.

One other thing I wanted to know. What will be the rules for buying souls?

Its established that the contract is void if:
- the mortal was forced to sign the contract, either by magic or with a sword at his throat
- the devil did not uphold his side of the bargain

Everything else should be fair game but I would like to know if you would accept the following:
- clauses that the mortal didn't know but are clearly stated in the contract
- the same as above but in fine print that can be read with the naked eye
- fine print again but so small that you need a magnifying glass
- insane clauses ("The devil needs not to pay the mortal if the latter doesn't wears a red hat while signing the contract")
- vague payments ("The mortal shall never again need to fear hunger or cold" *kills mortal* *mortal needs no food and its quite warm in the hells*)
I think that everything except the nano-print should be fine since everybody who is dumb enough not to read the contract carefully deserves what he gets.

Otherwise, what skill checks will be needed? As I said earlier, I would prefer a series of bluff and diplomacy checks since it would feel a bit weird to have a profession skill do all the work and knowledge(planes) is usually used in the rulebooks for determining knowledge about fiendish laws anyways.

For the worth of a soul I found (HDxHD)x100 GP and (HDxHD)x20 XP for crafting and that seems rather fair. I would like to have a contact in the hells who's sole purpose would be to sell equipment for the souls I collected or simply giving me the corresponding amount of money or XP (which I would share with the group most likely).

Braindead, you actually couldn't be a Barrister of the Nine Hells. You need to be a native of the material plane, and you're an outsider.
