The update thing is giving different class skills than the PHB.
Quote
The ranger’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Hide (Dex), Jump (Str), Knowledge (dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (geography) (Int), Knowledge (nature) (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Search (Int), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), Swim (Str), and Use Rope (Dex).

It's giving me the rogue skills plus spellcraft.

Quote
Appraise, balance, bluff, decipher script, diplomacy, disable device, disguise, escape artist, forgery, gather information, intimidation, open lock, perform, sense motive, sleight of hand, spellcraft, tumble, use magic device

And when i put Rogue as the class, it gives me concentration, handle animal, heal, ride, spellcraft, survival.

Seems like that function is broken. You should stick to the PHB.

Ah. It's marking the ones that aren't class skills. Huh. And i thought i had 12 skill points. (6+Int modifier)x4, right? And my Int is 5. -3 modifier.

The column is named CC, Cross Class. I got confused by that too.
Edit: Yes that should be correct.

Oh. Well then. Why make it so confusing?  ::)

Hum, I might have missed it, did you ever say if you wanted me to scale up my crab to small?

There is some irony in that statement when you consider where we are. ;)

Actually, i have no idea why they made it that way. However, the function still seems not 100% safe to use since it failed to mark knowledge as a CC skill for me.

And it has been fixed. Thought that was the class skills that were marked, not the cross-class. ::) The knowledge ones are definitely broken. You need to mark them yourself. Also, DF is the good kind of complicated. The kind can't be easily confused with the exact opposite of what you want to do. Most of the time.

Oh, and, thinking ahead so we don't need to discuss it when the game actually starts, can I get a hyena instead of a wolf for an animal companion? Hyena has 1 more Str and Wis, but a lot fewer skill bonuses, so it evens out.

Hyenas will be fine for animal companions.

I've changed my mind about the crab's size. You can keep it at what it was.

Soul selling will be an interesting path to take for a demon. You've pledged allegiance to Asmodeus, you say? Well, now... *insert evil laugh here*

Tell me how this is - PROPOSED CLASS
Metal Messiah
BAB like a paladin
SAVES like a paladin
SPELLS can only cast metal related domain spells, such as from domains: travel war strength magic fire evil earth death destruction animal creation courage death hatred madness metal.   So no cure light wounds or stuff like that
Spell Progression
0 - 0 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 2
1 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 1 - 2
2 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 1
3 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 1
and so on
Feats
level 1 Smite+4tohit +level to damage, Impale(its like stunning fist but with chains)
level 2  Hatred Once per day as a free action, choose
one opponent. Against that foe you gain a +2 profane bonus on
attack rolls, saving throws, and Armor Class for 1 minute.
Magic Mount: you get a mechanical metal mount, gets some resilience's at level 5 like a paladins mount
Level 3 Command and rebuke undead like a paladin, but evil. something else

Hows that so far? Should i cast spells from charisma or Wis? I'd like to still have to memorize them like a cleric because i hate sorcerers
what else...hmm i forget OH, i should lose my powers if i become too nice, like a cleric.
b]Up to you (i cant balance DND that accurately so you tell me)[/b]
Hit dice- d8's? or d10's?
proficiencies-up to you simple? or martial?

Hows this guy for a race?-ACCEPTED RACE
Jugulator
+2str +2con -4int
subtypes evil, lawful
2 chain attacks 1d6 at up to 10ft
dancing chains: as a standard action can manipulate a chain within 20 ft and make it attack as if self wielded. Can make it extend an additional 15ft and can climb controlled chains at normal speed without a climb check. Can controll 2 chains at a time at level 6 and 3 at level 12
can see in the dark even darkness spell 60ft
resistant to ice and fire
+8 racial bonus to metalcrafting

Sesthorono the Choker. If you see a part you have questions on, ask away.

I still have to add in my Knight abilities. Also, I may propose a class if I get all inspired.

Character Sheet: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=300908

Timezone: GMT-5

Location Vote: Somewhere near a forest, away from large cities.

Backstory Vote: Apathic, both are equally good explainations for how this happened.

I plan to split actions between thrall and worm. If the thrall takes an action, the worm doesn't and vise versa. While both taking actions independantly is supported by the rules, it would probably be OP. So expect to see the worm spending its turns concentrating on its bardic music, while the orc swings its greataxe or whatever.

For my thrall, I'm going to start out with an orc warrior named Martin. Having PC levels would be OP starting out, since a puppeteer bard is already roughly equal to the class abilities of an normal character with hands. Rolled stats are here for Martin the Orc, and his stats have been added to my character sheet in the temporary attributes slots.

I've noted down my saves in an odd way; The host has 4/0/0 saves and the worm has 4/4/5 saves when attached. Unattached for worm is 0/4/5. Since the worm is the one I acutally care about, his saves are the ones I listed.

Likewise skills require a bit of explaination. Anything that the host body would be doing, running jumping, swimming, etc. uses the orc's attribute mods. Things that require thinking/talking use the worms, since it's the one that will be doing those. If needed, I'll write up a second character sheet for the orc, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

How difficult will it be for you to change hosts Grek? Once we established ourselves a bit we could take some prisoners and keep them around as spare hosts for you.
