I pity your friend, to lose so much time, but at least he was not cognizant of it. The worst part is that prolonged use of the stasis sphere accelerates the aging process...so he may end up losing more time than he gained, so to speak.".

Molten Heart begins to search the journal for references to the Trap Master, and finds a few passages...

Interesting sight today. After the last break-in was foiled by the Greycloaks, they hired a new man, calls himself "Trap Master" as a title, and won't tell us his real name. Odd Fellow. Sort of handsome, very eccentric.
He'll be rooming with our group a while anyway. It will be a relief to have someone else to talk to. Arrows been getting on my nerves lately. Trap Master says he's used to far better, but will work with what he's given.

Trap Master said he has developed some interesting "surprises", and began installing them in the stairwells and hallways, to deter intruders. Just as well, we can't leave here anyway. I suggested the use of Stasis Sphere to capture animals, or contain poisons or gasses for long periods of time. I think he enjoyed my idea.

The Trap Master's request to have the stockroom walls reinforced was not approved by the Greycloaks, as they don't want to risk a collapse. I agree with them-all that noise, I could live without. Still, we're all worried about something getting a whiff and tunneling it's way into there.

Trap Master said he had to leave today, back to his floating castle or whatever it was-he's finished with the complicated number floor puzzle, finally.

Just for fun, he let me try it out-I failed, of course. I think he makes him puzzles so that even if one gets to the end, you can't totally ever be sure of winning until you take the last step...he's not a very good loser, let me tell you...

Anyway, I was surprised when the floor dropped in on me. Bumped my head pretty good, you might say. Trap Master was already down there, andhe showed me four doors...

-One leading to a stasis sphere he said had a giant Snake-the snake was supposed to have a key around it's neck that opened a door to the stockroom, but the person he had hired to place it on him was eaten. Poor Dwarf.

-There was another one with a giant stone Devils head that asked riddles and breathed fire. He said this room actually contained a teleporter of some sort, though he didn't enlighten me as to where it was, or were it sent you to. Knowing him, he had another labyrinith waiting somewhere.

-Another one that led right back to where you started-which he told me was very funny, since he inverted dimensional laws to do it.

-The last one was an annoying water puzzle, with a stairwell that led up to the stockroom, and back to the fountain room. Nifty-once you solve the puzzle, you can grab a snack on your way back up.

Big surprise. We heard a horrible roaring sound coming from the stock room. The Greycloaks told us something had found it's way in, and was trying to break through the door. They killed it anyway, but I saw the damage myself-who knows what the Hell could come in next? We've got holes to the Underworld all through this place.

Adwarf has already taken Kinship/Wolf Pet, but I can probably make you two distinct enough to feel different-can you specify what sub-species of Elf you are, if any? Just for lore reasons, really.

By the physical description and choice of weapon, I would peg you as a Dark Elf that serves the Darklords-a type of sterotypically evil sort, but thats no reason to transcend your station in life and become better than that. If thats the case, will you need help figuring out your history? I can probably think of something

And with agility being your highest stat, you may also want to prefer ranged weapons over melee. Though that messes up your name.

Oh! He took Wolf Kinship.. in that case, I'll change it. It didn't specify on the first page, so... Also, I would think that Agility would also be somewhat useful in melee wouldnt it? It's speed as well as dexterity, so... I'm always one for an agile melee fighter, graceful and fast rather than a brute force strength melee fighter.

He actively trained to fight against the Darklords, training in fast, accurate and deadly attacks with his weapon of choice; favouring his speed over his strength, due to his speed naturally being higher and his strength being... well, naturally lower.

I was using str for determining how much damage you do on melee attacks.

and agi is used for passing your defense rolls, determining intiative, flanking and manuevering, plus dodging most other nasty stuff like traps, sneak attacks, and beams. So it's definately viable.

Agi fighters do less damage, but generally have better personal defense in melee.
