Ok shit hit the fan for me... And I mean big time...

LOTS of DEATH this year, to tell the truth this is the first time I have ever had someone die on me that wasn't my fault at the start, no wait all of this was my fault. Damn you Nanomage, you wanting something made from Platiumn distracted me, let me go wild into the caverns (which killed I think 6 Dwarves) then there was the Titan, another 6, and then the goblin siege and snatcher killing around 4-5 themselves...

GAH this sucks, Lost also my best Axe Dwarf, the one that killed the Titan, he was going to save someone from a Blind Cave bear when it played Drop Bear on him and killed him for his efforts...

Anyway, There was a Siege for the last few minutes of play so I took time to Seal the fort (why is there no Drawbridge for simple sealing) from them as they chased the livestock around. 5 Days into Spring due to that...

You know if i demand something it's not for myself but for the victory of the socialist revolution only! That platinum will be used for, hmm, helping to overthrow the feudal oppressors and their capitalist allies by, hmm, its unearthly shine, or maybe by its weight. So, make some platinum right now, if you are loyal to the teachings of Marx and the ideas or revolution. You are loyal, are you not? ;)

Actually, you'd better replace the mayor, at least until you find platinum. A little abusive, but you might find one who likes more common goods.
Oh I have gotten the Platinum, oh and you my 'lover' (Neyvn is Female in this fort)

And you said the third year would be quiet. Shit, if only you had some screenies and had started early enough to do more storytelling. Oh well, poor NRDL!

Looks like the Gaxcists are beginning commando raids. Did they come screaming "Long live the Goblin Race, your lords and masters!" ?

Edru don't like wooden goods? Well, asses to them then.

Oh my giddy aunt, I wonder how we'll put the fort back together?

EDIT: NRDL says he can't play right now, so Lafiel is up!

By the way, do we already have a huge rectangular magma pond with a masterfully designed image of hammer and hammer in the corner? We also should have a state emblem, with a masterfully desogned image of the globe decorated by two stacks of cave wheat[5] and abovementioned hammer and hammer, and stick it everywhere. And we should start producing tons od redroot-dyed cloth!
Too bad printing press is off and we can't yet make ideologically correct books and newspapers, but at least we should care that our engravers focus on proper events and images. A little bit of meaning-less circles and cats is ok, but only one type of nobles could be tolerated in the engravings - those dying horribly.
Engraving of fortress leaders and founders should only be allowed to comrades who have proven their layalty to workers' class and communist ideas. All such enravings should be of masterwork or exceptional quality and should maintain the feeling of greatness and importance and overall feel of popular approval.
Principles of democratic centralism allow for some discussion and controversy inside the party, but public engravings are not the place for them.
Also we should keep track that noone tries engraving of symbols of foreign cultures on the walls, and permanent exclusion from the Union of Artists and Engravers would be the lightest punishment upon those infiltrators, if they show up their ugly heads filled with greed and selfishness!

argh that's enough. you know with these soviet-flavoured texts you just can't stop once started  :D

Are you taking dorfs? I don't want a turn, but having a dorf in this is too good a chance to pass up!

I believe we're taking dorfs. Anyway, are we going to skip Lafiel too?

We'll wait one more day on Lafiel, and while we wait I'll PM all the other players. Gamerlord, next immigrant wave a dwarf shall be named after you.

Actually, at the rate we're going we may need more players.

No need to PM me :) And if there will be an opportunity to take one more turn I'll be honored to raise our commune. And I'll take care of one of projects such as big statue of hammer and hammer on entrance or something like this.

The tools by which we were founded were clearly the pickaxe and fishhook, as you all know. Why two of the same, a hammer?

Pickaxe is the symbol of the working class, the glorious proletariat, who mine and dig for the benefit of all!

Sure, why not?

Anyway, Lafiel has until sunday to start. If he doesn't, then on Monday the next person can start theirs
